TDA4VM: Could Linux and R5 communicate through CPSW9G?

Hi Experts:

I'm working on a custom board with TDA4VM.  I bypassed GESI board detect in "ethfw" so that it can run on our board.  I can see two "eth" in linux, one is CPSW2G and the other is CPSW9G. Both IP can be assigned manually, so far so good. But when I try to ping R5's IP from Linux,  timeout always happens.

My question is:

  1.  A72 and R5 seem to operate on the same port, could they have independent IP separately?
  2. Could A72 and R5 communicate through CPSW9G?

The PSDKRA version is 6.2. For more details, I attach log below.
