HI~

Using MISTRAL

OMAP3530_EVM ES3.1

REV G

X-loader 1.47

u-Boot 2010.06

TI-DVSDK-4_00_00_22

I'm follow step by step in http://code.google.com/p/rowboat/wiki/DSP

setting Memory hole in Environment Variables below

mem=88M@0x80000000 mem=128M@0x88000000

but booting messages show

cmem overlap kernel(0x80000000->0x8d800000)

why can't set Memory Hole ?

and How to setting Memory Hole in u-Boot or

other way to set Environment Variables

The cmem overlap message you mentioned is just an information not an error.

But Memory Hole not correct creating , it's OK?

This problem whether effect DSP-Link or other error When I using loadmodule.sh ?

The memory hole will be correctly created if you followed the rowboat DSP wiki. The log message above does not mean any failure.

rowboat-froyo-dsp.xml loads all DSP related kernel modules in /init.rc, there is no loadmodule.sh script in rowboat.

Please provide more details if you have any issue to use DSP codecs in rowboat.
