For a conversion from TMS320C6655 to TMS320C6455, for application code porting, do we need to do extra work or the application code is HAL layer agnostic. If you can help, that would be appreciated.

From TMS320C6655 to TMS320C6455? Or from C6455 to C6655? Do you use TI CSL code for the HAL? The CSL library for C66x is different from C64x+, also if you use any peripherals, those IPs may be different and so are the drivers.
