TDA3XEVM: ISS NSF3V tuning

Part Number: TDA3XEVM

Hi,

How to tune NSF3V filter? Default configuration (from SDK driver) leads to too high suppresion (bluring low contrast redions).

Currently We are trying to use DCC tuning tool and have some troubles:

1) Does  DCC tool support gray-scale images on input;

2) Could you provide us with sample image with which DCC tool works properly (for semi-automatic mode);

3) How to convert generated parameters from xml-file to config structures for SDK Driver (manual mode);

  • 1) Does  DCC tool support gray-scale images on input;

    No. It supports only RAW Bayer

    2) Could you provide us with sample image with which DCC tool works properly (for semi-automatic mode);

    Please capture a RAW image from the sensor with a XRite Color Checker chart in the view. If you are facing issues, please share your image with us.

    3) How to convert generated parameters from xml-file to config structures for SDK Driver (manual mode);

    Step 1-  XML should be copied to dcc_xml folder in SDK sensor driver. Please make sure the older NSF4 XML is deleted.

    Step 2 - After this run the dcc_generate batch file to create the new .h file which will have updated tuning database

    Step 3 - Rebuild the SDK and test again
