Hello, we are trying to bridge LVDS data to Ethernet, and searching on the forum I arrived to this question:
I would like to know if it was solved offline, or if TI has any way to simply transfer LVDS data to Ethernet.

Hi, I heard back from the engineer that worked the original post you linked. The final result was that no solution could be found using the AM-series devices and they instead moved to a custom designed ASIC for the bridging.

What a shame, since AM-series would be a killer match for our applications. From what I have checked, most solutions to this issue use a FPGA or a Serdes+LVDS driver. However a more dedicated, cost-effective and less power sonsuming processor would be fantastic.
