PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: MLO boot issue

Hi,

My current HW is beagle bone black with which I am trying to boot using a MLO and app file using SD Card.
I follow the directions as mentioned in the link below,

The bootloader part of the presentation mentions that I should copy over the MLO and app to a bootable SD card.

I guess my question would be how to create a bootable SD card to get BBB to boot over SD card and run the MLO file. I am aware of the S2 button to get BBB to select SD card as the boot media.

Currently I am using the SanDisk SD card formatter tool to format the sd card and just copy over the MLO and app file which results in nothing showing up on the UART.

I am using the MLO files present in the "processor_sdk_rtos_am335x_6_03_00_106" exe downloaded from TI website

Hello Max,

Thank you for the link.
I have come to realize most of these step-by-step guide miss an important step which seems to have been my problem.
I had this epiphany while reading some page on the web.

"To make the partition active"

If the partition is not made "Active" BBB does absolutely nothing when choosing SD card as the boot option.
