TDA4VMXEVM: Display Port Interface

Dear experts,

In Jacinto 7 EVM (TDA4VMXEVM) there is only one display port that can used, the second one is reserved.

Could you please tell me what type of signals can be generated through this display port ? single-ended, differential signal...etc

PS: my requirement is to generate RGB 24 bits signal,can Jacinto 7 do it through the display port ?

Hi Brahim,

Display port generates standard signals support DP standards. Yes, it is RGB24 bit, but please refer to DP standard for more information for signals.

This is what I found in TRM :

It's contradiction with what you said, it seems that RGB24 cannot be generated through Display Port.

Hello Brahim,

oh sorry for confusion, i meant RGB36 and RGB30 are supported, as explained in 12.6.6.2.3 DPI_DATA Input Pixel Format Supported section.
