K2L is definitely an option. All information is on the ti.com device product folders.

Do note that K2L support is limited and only via 3P -this is noted on the product folders. Any TI designs, reference designs and associated software are no longer supported by TI. So if this is a new project and development please be aware of the support limitations. 

On OMAPl138 Mity DSP board - if that is of interest - please contact Critical Link directly on the software needed for that board.

TI supported  board for OMAPL138/C6748 is the LCDK board.

This is supported by TI's software development kit etc.
