    Can you confirm your reference and what's been attempted already? In the PRU getting started guide - https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sprach5 we have a description of the software and examples available through the Processor SDK RTOS. Is this the document you are referring to? One of the more basic examples to get started with is the I2C example described in section 2.5, for which there is an example in <PDK>/packages/ti/drv/i2c/firmware/icss_i2c/src.
