OMAP-L138: when running helloworld example, it can't ping

Hello,

Has the hello world been modified or are you trying to run it as-is? What is the return value of DaemonNew()?

Hi Sahin,

Customer didn't modify the hello world exampe and run it as-is.

The arp has been setup, using the default mac address: 00-08-ee-03-14-99.

deamonnew entered into errorout, then jumped to NS_boottask function in  netsrv.c to excute TaskExit.  It can't enter dtask_udp_hello. 

Besides, the board can ping in uboot or linux, it means the hardware is okay. Customer can use NDK API to read/write PHY, but PC can't ping board.

I wonder if you can upgrade to the latest PRSDK for OMAP-L138, http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/OMAPL138/latest/index_FDS.html the helloworld example should be tested.

For the current code that exit, can you try to increase the stack and heap size? Also there should be a SYSBIOS .cfg file, do you see something like: 

Global.enableCodeGeneration = true or false; 

What is the setting? Can you alternate it? And if you can re-build and run the helloworld example after change? Will that help?
