AM3358: DDR recommendation

Hi,

I have a few questions on EMIF for AM335x.

1) Can this be used? P.No- IS43TR81024B-125KBLI from ISSI to support 2GB.

2) IS43TR16512B-125KBLI to support 1GB.

Hi,

These seem to be compatible parts.

1. You will need two 8-bit memories to achieve 2GB. However AM335x devices have a total of 1GB total addressable space on the EMIF, so this is not a solution you can use.

2. You can use only one 16-bit memory.

Please refer to section 7.7.2.3 of the AM335x Datasheet Rev. L for DDR design guidelines.

2. As IS43TR16512B-125KBL is x16 bit can use right?

Does TI have any reference design based on AM335x supporting 1GB DDR?
