Cannot connect to C6A8168

song

Hello, I am a beginner of Davinci Board, and I cannot connect with the board C6A8168 with CCS v5 and Blackhawk PCI560 Emulator.

I have started the board with a SD card, but when I want to connect the target use CCSv5, I got an Error that

"ARM9_TPPSS: Failed to retrieve the Wait in Reset Mode: Failed to get PRSC status",

and also sometimes a got a message that "cannot halt the processor".

Does my emulator not support the new Board?

Or is there anything I should do before connect the board, such as set boot mode?

Please help me.

The Blackhawk PCI560 Emulator is supported. The reference to the ARM9_TPPSS is a known bug and it should be fixed by the driver in the upcoming CCS5.1 release. Here is some info on CCSv5.1:

Code Composer Studio v5.1 will be mass market release and will be targeting all existing CCSv4.x customers. The goal for this release is to have feature parity with CCSv4.x while adding in the new features available in the latest Eclipse platform. Customers with valid maintenance subscriptions will be able to upgrade to CCSv5.1. CCSv5.1 is under development and currently not available. There will be several beta releases of CCSv5.1 throughout 2011, starting as early as Feb/2011 with a final release in 3Q11. CCSv5.1 will be based on Indigo Eclipse release train.
