TMS320C6748: Unable to boot from NOR FLASH in TMS320C6748 based board

Hello sir,

We have designed a custom board using TMS320C6748 processor.  We have used MT28EW512ABA1HPN NOR flash.

We have developed code, tested in debug mode through JTAG. Board is working fine. Then we built the code in release mode, created .bin file using AISGEN utility. Loaded the same into the flash using NOR flash writer.

When we power-up, the board does not boot from the flash. We have connected a pushbuttton switch to MR pin of DSP power supply IC (Please refer to schematics. J11 on page1). If we press hold  the push button for atleast 15 seconds and release, then the DSP boots from the flash.

We are unable to understand the issue. Kindly help.
