TMS320C6711D: Digital Beamforming Test bed design

Hello,

I am trying to design a test bed for digital beamforming using constant modulus algorithm. Before going to hardware, I wanted to simulate a virtual test bed design in simulink using TI DSK processors in SIMULINK (MATLAB). Can you help me by giving any reference simulation diagram or example files? I know what types of blocks (which is given below from a TI paper) I need but don't know how to interface them in SIMULINK and also use TI DSK kits. If there is any example simulation availbale that will be good. Thank you all in advance.

Hi, Brinta,

TI no longer have a relation with MATHworks so don`t have any official support for the Simulink block. For any support on MATLAB, please contact MATHWORKS directly.

We don't have any platform available. Please contact mathworks. They may have something available in their radar processing toolbox

Hi Brinta,

MathWorks offers a Phased Array System Toolbox product which covers beamforming. You can do simulation and design with this toolbox. I have no expertise in this area, so I cant help with specific questions on this topic or toolbox - other then mentioning that it does exist.

I will add that there is not currently a clean / simple way to take an algorithm created in MathWorks tools and get it running on the C6711. It is possible, but you have to manually establish a workflow - which would involve code generation to C, importing the needed C code files into Code Composer Studio (or your IDE of choice), and deploying / debugging from there.
