  • From the log it is not conclusive on what really happened.

Can you please provide log before the log like AVSERVER paramters, logs of AVSERVER.

Also, what tools are you swtiching ON? is the arm load 100% when it crashed?

    Regards,

    Raghu

  • I didn't turn on any extra tools out of do some setting on web interface. Before the crash error happen, the Arm CPU look normal.

Please check the full log for detail.

    thank you very much!

  • From the log it looks like cramfs is burnt properly in NAND. What is the command you used to burn cramfs?

    did you use this command? tftpboot 0x82000000 cramfsImage_ipnc_dm368_2.5.0;nand erase 0x700000 0xE00000;nand write 0x82000000 0x700000 0xE00000

I think you filesystem is bigger and needs bigger memory so please increase it to 0x1000000 from 0xE00000?

Can you tell me the size of your filesystem?

for ex: v2.5 filesystem cramfsImage_ipnc_dm368_2.5.0 was of size 14,467,072 bytes i.e. 0xDCC000 . So we choose 0xE00000 as size.

  • - my command:

    tftpboot 0x82000000 cramfs368E

    nand erase 0x700000 0xdd3000; nand write 0x82000000 0x700000 0xdd3000; saveenv;

    setenv bootargs 'mem=48M console=ttyS1,115200n8 root=/dev/mtdblock3 rootfstype=cramfs ip=dhcp eth=00:0E:0C:A0:24:F0'

    setenv bootcmd 'nboot 0x80700000 0 0x500000;bootm 0x80700000'

    - My cramfs File size: 0xdd3000

I will try to extend the size by using 0xE00000.

    Thank you very much!

  • OK, one more issue can be that cramfs is created properly with some files missing due to permission issue.

Can you run these commmand to ensure you have correct permission before creating the filesystem

    sudo chmod -R a+rwx /home/user/DM368/IPNetCam
    sudo chown -R user /home/user/DM368/IPNetCam

  • Hi Raghu Kudva,

I will check all things and make sure them correct before test again.

Thank you for your useful help! tomorrow is lunar new year so I wish you have a new year with a lot of happiness and success.

I will continue at next week, and may be I should need your hand.

    Thanks again!

  • Hi,

I followed all your suggestions but the camera still look unstable with version 2.5.

    - during booting, I got the error that relate to USB driver:

    g_file_storage gadget: File-backed Storage Gadget, version: 28 November 2005

ERROR: Module g_g_file_storage gadget: Number of LUNs=1

    file_storage doeg_file_storage gadget-lun0: ro=0, file: /dev/sbulla

    - Camera ran about 4hours and raised some strange internal errors.

    Internal error: Oops: 817 [#1]

Should I update my devkit or do some special setting for compiler? I attached 2 logs for these issues.

Please help me to figure out the reasons! thank your very much!

      log 1: 6320.ev_ipnc_368_07feb2011.txt

      log 2: 7455.ev_ipnc_368_07feb2011_2.txt

  • From the log it loks like some issue with Audio playback, can you check if there proper buffers availbale for this operation.

Also, do you see this issue without playback or motion detect enabled
