Hello,
Let me confirm about status of following thread.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/759811?AM6548-AM65x-and-TSN
According to above thread, TI will release TSN demo on RTOS and Linux by 2019/2Q.
However, it seems that TSN demo is NOT implemented on latest SDK(06_03_00_106).
When will you relase ?
Best Regards,
The post referred to captured the intent at the time, but is out of date. We will have TSN support included for the CPSW hardware MAC in the upcoming SDK 7.0 release at the end of the month, and for the PRU-ICSSG later in the year.
Best regards,
Dave

Is there any news on the release date for this? We're eagerly waiting to see TSN on the AM65x.
Dominic,
SDK 7.0 should be on ti.com by the end of this week.
Best regards,
Dave
Hello Dave,
I saw that PROCESSOR-SDK-AM65X version 07_00_00_05 has been posted on ti.com, but I'm having trouble finding the TSN demo.
Could you provide me some pointer where to look?
The new processor SDK also looks a little bit different from previous relases, e.g. the PDK folder is now called "pdk_jacinto_07_00_00".
I saw that there's a new packages\ti\transport\timeSync folder in the PDK, but the prebuilt HAL is only for j721e.
Regards,
Dominic
Dominic,
TSN is enabled in the Processor SDK Linux release.

We do not yet have in the RTOS package.
Best regards,
Dave
Hello Dave,
thanks, but for our immediate problems Linux isn't an option. The OP mentioned "According to above thread, TI will release TSN demo on RTOS and Linux by 2019/2Q.", so I was implicitly expecting the TSN support you mentioned a few weeks ago to include RTOS.
Could you please also comment on the packages\ti\transport\timeSync stuff that appears to be included for J721e only? The first thing about TSN that we're interested in would be time sync anyway, so something supporting 802.1AS-REV or just any PTPv2 implementation would be great. It looks like the transport\timeSync stuff might be what we're looking for, it's just not comiled for our SoC.
Regards,
Dominic
