Hi,

I have a pre-existing kernel on C66. I want to move it to r5f core. I have included its target libraries also. But when i run the code, it is showing an error of

0.379000 s: VX_ZONE_ERROR:[ownInitNodeObjDesc:145] ownInitNodeObjDesc: invalid target or no target, associated with kernel

0.379000 s: VX_ZONE_ERROR:[vxCreateNodeByStructure:85] vxCreateNodeByStructure: Failed to create node with kernel enum 0

Could you please help me with this.

This has to be taken care in the tivxAddKernelABC() function on the host,

For Eg. in file vision_apps/kernels/img_proc/host/tivx_img_mosaic_host.c

Look at function tivxAddKernelImgMosaic() function. This function is supported on below targets. So if you want to run a node on multiple targets you will have specify them here and have appropriate target side kernel implementation.

Hi shyam,

I have taken care of this.

I want to run this on r5f core 1. So I have added,

/* add supported target's */

tivxAddKernelTarget(kernel, TIVX_TARGET_IPU1_1);

and it is auto generated from the python script.

What about the target side registration? You will have to sue same unique name while creating host side kernel and target side kernel.

Hi shyam,

Yes shyam. I have the unique names for the kernels.

First I created it on C66 and it was running fine. Now I want to shift it to r5f. So I deleted the kernel on c66 and created a new one with the same functionality on r5f.
