Codec with 4Ch AD and 8ch DA 5V?

Hi,

I need a codec:

4ch AD, differential inputs/ 8ch DA (at least 6), single ended outputs, LP integrated. AD and DA supplied at 5V (3V3 is not ok for customer use)

Any hints?

Hi Antonio,

Take a look at the PCM3168. It has 6 inputs and 8 outputs and is our highest channel count CODEC.

Hi Collin,

Thanks, however PCM3168 has differential outputs, while customer needs single ended outputs. They also need the LP anti-aliasing filter on board of the codec that is not present on PCM3168. So PCM3168 cannot be taken in consideration, any other hints here?BR,

Hello,

Unfortunately not, but I'm going to connect our systems team with you for more information. It's pretty common for Audio DACs to require an external anti-aliasing filter (it's just 2R/1C). Two quad op-amps could take care of the DE-to-SE conversions.
