BEAGLEBK: Power cycling

Part Number: BEAGLEBK

Hi,

We are planning to automate our tests both at firmware and OS levels for Beaglebone Black.

It involves frequent power-cycle of the board on various occassions.

                - approx. 2 to 4 times per minute (assuming the tests are successful)

                - approx. 6 to 8 times  per minute (if the tests fail)

Does the above count of power-cycle cause any damage to board hardware.??

Could anyone recommend the permitted COUNT of POWER-CYCLES which could be performed on Beaglebone Black.??

Do we have any recommendations to be followed under such frequent POWER-CYCLES??

Regards,

Adarsh
