AM3358: DMTimer internal delay

Hi,

I'm looking at spruh73q.pdf, figure 20-5 which contains the timing diagram of a DMTimer in capture mode. It seems like it takes about 5 cycles of timer_clock from the PIEVENTCAPT edge until TCAR is updated.

Is figure 20-5 cycle exact? Is the event-to-capture delay constant?

I can't comment on whether figure 20-5 is cycle exact. However, the event-to-capture delay should be constant.

Hello Melissa, thank you for providing this information.

I'm using a timer for timestamping an external signal and I need to make sense of the data I'm getting. The absolute offset is important. Would you be able to find out?
