Hi experts:
We are discussing with customer use TDA4x DSI interface drive 2 1080p@30FPS LCD.
Our UB941 support superframe mode. (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ds90ub941as-q1.pdf)
I believe our DSI interface support superframe mode. but remained some question:
1. TDA4x support symmetric splitting and Asymmetric mode?
2. Default Linux software driver support superframe or we have develop plan for support it?
Best Regards!
Han Tao
Hi Tao,
I think this essentially means setting up width to be 2 times the actual width on the input pipe. Then in the application, two frames needs to be merged into a single buffer.
From the driver point of view, no change required, application requires to take care of merging two frames..
We have not really tested this feature. But i think from DSI point of view, no change required..
