TVP5158 Driver for SDK 4?

Hi, does anyone know if there is a driver for the TVP5158 available for SDK 4? Based on the following forum post, it looks like a driver was done for the DM368 DVR Reference Design, but it may be incomplete or not work with newer SDKs. I would be interested to know if any additional work has been done.

I'm going to be needing this in the near future. The driver for the DVR reference is a user space driver. I have no idea how hard it will be to integrate into DVSDK 4. Or if it makes sense to try to convert it to a kernel driver.

Has anybody had a chance to look at this? I'm hoping there's something out there since the TVP5158 is what is used in the reference design.

Hi,

There is some work in progress to have a TVP5158 driver that can be used on the V4L2 layer of LSP for DM36x. I would request you to contact your local TI Sales/FAE to get the exact schedule as i am not fully aware of the schedules. I will try to get a schedule asap, internally and post it on the forum.

There is no specific reason. The only thing is that it ws validated with DVSDK 3.x. We have taken this driver and ported for other device on latest linux kernel 2.6.37. We dont see any problem. so i dont think there will be any issue with these drivers working on DVSDK 4.x

- or just the diff between the DM365_DVR_DVSDK3_00.02.00.00 package for kernel 2.6.32 to

the new package for kernel 2.6.37 .

i have a custom board consists DM8148 and TVP5158.

i tried to use the DM365_DVR_DVSDK3_00.02.00.00 package without success .
