video_loopback_deinterlacer is not found under DMAI application in DVSDK 4

Hi All,

I have found the new DVSDK 4 doesn't have an application video_loopback_deinterlacer as part of dmai apps.

But in DVSDK 3.10 it was there in the below path. dmai_2_05_00_12/packages/ti/sdo/dmai/apps/video_loopback_deinterlacer.

Does any one know why it is removed from the latest DVSDK 4. Is there any specific reason?

Hi,

I just realized that as well. In the DVSDK beta release 4_00_00_17 it still was included. Now the whole I2p interface was removed. I am very interested to know the reason, as the deinterlacer is still part of the codec engine.

OK, I just copied the I2P.c/h files from dmai_2_05_00_18 int the latest DVSDK and realized that the algorithm was renamed from "deinterlacer" to "i2p". Now it's working again.
