Hello.

I am using am335x-EVM Board for one of my projects. In that, if I want to use the GPIO3_17 in the device tree (DTSI Files). I am getting error in TI PINMUX TOOL.

Please find the attached screenshot of Error In PINMUX tool.

Hey Chethan,

The tool is selecting the ZCE package type by default which does not include the gpio3_17 pin (see table below from https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/am3358.

The EVM uses the ZCZ package, this can be selected at tool startup. The new SysConfig tool includes a new Switch Part/Package button that can also be used (see tool screenshot below).

Let us know if you have anymore issues setting up the GPIO3_17 pin in your device tree!
