AM3358: error #10234-D: unresolved symbols remain using the RPMsg

Hello,

I am trying to use RPMsg on the sitara am335x and on the ccs i get the following error and looking through the forum I didn't find a solution that helps me through the error I am facing,

undefined      first referenced
  symbol            in file     
 ---------      ----------------
 pru_rpmsg_init ./pru0_tx.obj   
 
error #10234-D: unresolved symbols remain
error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "pru0_tx.out" not built

although i have included all the necessary header files and including all the .lib files to the pru linker

Can you build an unmodified example, like PRU_RPMsg_Echo_Interrupt0? You can find guidance on building the RPMsg_Echo_Interrupt example in Lab 5 of the PRU Hands-on Labs.

Hello Nick,

I switched to linux and the CCS works fine and builds the file when I simply add the linker file for the rpmsg found on the pru software support package.

I guess the problem was that I have a corrupted installation of the ccode composer studio on my windows pc.
