TDA4VM: How to debug further when C7x abort in int_exec?

I backward porting bios to 6.2, and I am still seeing this issue. from the picture, you can see the bios_6_82_01_19 in the file path.

That's why I want to debug further.

When exception occurs can you check C7x core registers IEAR and IEER and let me know the values? You can see this from CCS registers window when you click on C7x core. Also please attach a screen shot of entire CCS window showing the registers and also disassembly.

We reproduce it again, here is the register:

IERR(0x800) shows Streaming Engine causes the exception.

And the corrosponding disassembly(from IEAR) is MMALIB calling SE0++ & SE1++. Then we want to dump all SE registers.

However, before we dump all registers, there might be some other exception happens cause by CCS(I guess), IERR register is reset to 0. So we are waiting for another reproduce.

If you read any register during an exception it will get reset to zero. So don't click on any register in CCS and try to copy the values.

I used to see this with previous version of BIOS, can you confirm if the BIOS migration has taken effect by running the AVP2 demo by enabling interrupts. You might have to run it for a longer duration to see if the effect has taken place.

Second I see that this is MMA code, is this something you wrote or taken from MMALIB? We might have to loop in some MMA experts.

The backward porting is done by Keerthy.

MMALIB & TIDL is default 6.2 PSDKRA.

Some update:

1. Originally, our test bench will use camera to capture data(R5F), then do customer TIDL. After 5~10 hrs it will crash.

2. Now, we are testing with readfile, then do customer TIDL. It has been 20+ hrs, no crash.

3. Next step, we are going to test with capture to null + readfile to TIDL.

Questions:

1. Any idea about the relationship between capture & C7x?

2. We backward porting BIOS to 6.2, so TIOVX remains the old version. So the tidl node is still disabling interrupts during inference. Does it matter?

C7x will abort if R5F is running Capture. although TIDL is not using captured frames.

Readfile will not cause C7x abort.

Can you try enabling interrupts in old TIOVX and try again? Unless the porting is done correctly we shouldnt be seeing this issue.

This need C7x spec info regarding exception registers to debug further which is not in the TRM.

In a log run debug we had tried this but I would say depending on the issue this may or may not help.

For the moment we will need to debug by understanding what is running on the system ?
So can you describe what is running on C7x.
