AM3358: AM3358 board does not boot.

Part Number: AM3358

Q1. We made five pocket beagles using the AM3358.

https://github.com/beagleboard/pocketbeagle

4 out of 5 do not work.

When measuring the voltage of the pins, the pocket beagle EMU0 (MISC EMULATION PIN) does not go up to 3.3V, while a normal board goes up to 3.3V.

What can be the cause of this problem?

Q2. I made beaglebone black wireless.

https://github.com/beagleboard/beaglebone-black-wireless

I used ODS3358 packaging AM3358 as board CPU.

3.3V voltage does not come from the CPU.

Do you have any suggestion to figure out why VDD_3v3B does not come out?

  • Hello Chunghee,

Please note that we only support TI software on the TI forum. (i.e., the TI Processor SDK). If you have questions about beaglebone community software, please check with the Beaglebone community instead.

FYI, when you say you "made" pocket beagles and a beaglebone black wireless, this is what I assume you mean:
    1) You bought boards that are already assembled
    2) You are trying to load software onto those boards.

    Regards,

    Nick
