Hello!

We want to buy debug tool like XDS220 ISO USB/Ethernet JTAG Emulator (spectrum digital). It's not obvious support this emulator work with new core C7x on TDA4. Can you confirm that XDS220 support debug with C7x core from TDA4x? Can you give reference to manual with information?

Hi George,

I see XDS2xx there in the CCS 9.3. Is this what you are looking for?

On a side note, can you use the on-board xds110, that should be handy to use as no external HW is required.

Hi Karan!

Yes, we see XDS2xx, but we see only Texas Instruments XDS2xx, but not Spectrum Digital XDS220 in lisf of emulators. Is it the same thing?

For now, we don't plan to buy EVM with TDA4 and install xds110 on our custom Board.

Yes they are same. Please refer - http://support.spectrumdigital.com/ccs53/xds2xx/files/xds220_quickstart_guide.pdf for details. This is for old CCS version but states the steps.
