It would be really good if the next release of the TI-Android-FroYo-DevKit could include the above LCD driver (which is part of 2.6.37 kernel). I plan to use this LCD and it is also used by other devices such as the OMAP3 Pandora.

I'm not sure if this is the right way to ask for new features in the DevKit.

Hi Mike,

Our next release mostly on gingerbread with kernel 2.6.32.

However we planning to give drop on 2.6.37 as well. But yet not decided.

Can you give more details about which LCD you will be using ? I can not see LCD info in your thread.

I'm sorry if it wasn't obvious. The LCD panel is in the subject line: TPO TD043MTEA1. The subject line also contains the source file name for the driver.

We have already started migration from 2.6.32 to 2.6.37. Will be available in rowboat with in a short period of time.
