TDA4VM: SERDES RX_TX, REFCLK pins questions

Questions from customer regarding TDA4VM SERDES_RX/TX pins.

1. Can SERDES_RX/TX can be float if they are not used?

2. If SERDES is not used, will SERDES REFCLK source be needed?

3. For example, PCIE and SGMII pins can be float if they are not used, correct?

4. Do they still need to provide clk source to REFCLK?

5. Is pull down resistor of SERDES_REXT needed? Please see figure below

SERDES_TX and SERDES_RX pins can be left unconnected (float) if unused. The SERDES_REFCLK inputs are not required if the SERDES in unused. These too can be left unconnected (float). We recommended designs always implemented the REXT resistor, even if SERDES is unused.
