TDA4VM: Can MCU-Domain use the 'timer manager' resource?

Technical Reference Manual of TDA4VM has information below:

It seems that the MCU Domain can not use the timer manager.

Is it ture or it just not demo? Can MCU Domain use timer manager in the future?

Timer manager is not available in MCU domain. May I know the use case ?

We have used 8 timers for input capture in MCU domain.

Now I want to create 8 periodic task in MCU Domain on one R5F-Core. As there are only 2 timer resources left, it is not enough.

What resource should I select for the periodic task? My periodic task requirement is [1ms, 5ms, 10ms, 20ms, 50ms, 100ms, 200ms, 1000ms]
I am now reading TI-RTOS user's guide. I want to know how much resource will clock.create use?

Hi,

You can just use Task_sleep() BIOS API to create your periodic tasks. No need to have a timer for each task.

TI-RTOS kernel uses a specific DM Timer as it's core clock, Task_sleep() will use that DM Timer.
