TDA4VM: Does serdes1 support one PCIE and one USB3 simultaneously?

Dear TI,

In another E2E case, TI said that PCIe and SGMII can't be run at the same time due to SERDES resource confliction.

Is there similar issue when there are PCIe and USB functions in the same SERDES?

We are using PSDKLA 6.2 release.

In Kernel dts, the serdes mux configuration is defined by 'idle-states' property of 'serdes_ln_ctrl' node.

On TI EVM, one lane of SERDES1 is connected to QSGMII daughter card and another lane to PCIE.
The conflict we have is in software as we don't have a common place to configure SERDES for both RTOS (Ethernet firmware) and Linux (PCIe).

Regarding USB and PCIe on SERDES1, let me check and get back.

It's possible to have Serdes1 configured to use Lane 0 for PCIe1_Lane0 and Lane 1 for USB1.

Sorry, there is a correction to my previous answer.

We don't have multi-link configuration validated yet on SERDES. So even though we can assign one lane to PCIe and one lane to USB, this type of multilink configuration is not validated.

Hardware supports the configuration of PCIe + USB on SERDES1, but Linux support for multilink configuration is not there today.

I am checking if this is planned to be supported around what timeline.
