AM4376: Linux: Kernel v4.4 ti-linux-kernel vs kernel.org and upstreaming

Part Number: AM4376

Hi,

a customer is using the following kernel from Yocto recipe

Recipe = linux-ti-staging_4.4.bb

BRANCH = "ti-lsk-linux-4.4.y"

The ti-lsk-linux-4.4.y branch is from the ti-linux-kernel as you know.

To further take advantage of Linux 4.4 maintenance patches on kernel.org, the customer needs to switch to the kernel.org kernel 4.4.

Since the ti-linux-kernel patches for ti-lsk-linux-4.4.y end approx 3Q 2018, the question is, exactly which patches on this tree have not been upstreamed to the kernel.org 4.4 kernel? Ideally this is a smaller set of patches.

The customer plans to take the kernel.org kernel and patch it with the remaining patch set from TI, that has not been upstreamed.

Could you let us know?

Thanks!
