CCS/TDA2E: How to create simple example of user case with Processor SDK Vision?

Hi,

The above mentioned example is one of the PDK CSL example, so you want to run that example on A15 or DSP?

Basically vision SDK is link & chain framework architecture & if you are beginner to this SDK, recommending to go through the document first.

There will be a index.html file in the installation directory. Open that file then you can navigate to required documents.

Hello!

I know how build SDK, create appImage, MLO. I'm not understand how to do simple example for DSP. What am I need to do with i2c_led_blink\main.c to run it with link & chain framework?

Hardware is evm J6ECO TDA2E. The version of VISION SDK: V3.08.00.

Hi,

The vision SDK is a video processing pipeline, So if you want to process any video algorithm then you can create your own use-case otherwise no need to define any use-case

If you want to enable the i2c_led_blink example in vision SDK, do the same changes in the below file

If you still prefer to go with use-case, Refer to the below document to create your own use-case.

How can I rebuild only c:\ti\SDK_VI\vision_sdk\links_fw\src\rtos\bios_app_common\tda2ex\a15_0\src\main_common_a15_0.c and get out file?

Hi,

There is no command to build that particular file, so use gmake -s -j command to build.

Hello!

I was able to compile on another computer.

The project falls into 

System_start(A15_main);

System_ipcStart();

status = Ipc_start(); // falls here.

Can I know how you are running the use-cse?

is it SD boot or CCS boot?

If you are following CCS boot method then, please share the output of "make -s showconfig", this command for Linux host building.

Run the command "gmake -s showconfig" if you are using windows host building

I don't understand why I can't build SDK. 

I get the next message:

It's because of you are not setting the below parameter correctly in Rules.make

MAKEAPPNAME?=sample_app

or

MAKEAPPNAME?=apps

In your case, it is set as  MAKEAPPNAME?=sample_apps
