CCS/TDA4VMXEVM: Toolchain for CCS in Windows machine

But it still possible to possible to build and debug from CCS Windows to J721E EVM target ? or it can be done only in Ubuntu?

I'm trying to build dss_display_test, I create a new CCS project and copy the files bellow to it and try to build/debug.

Hi Brahim,

You could require to build it using CCS, you could just go to pdk/packages/ti/build folder and use below command.

make -s PLATFORM=j721e_evm dss_display_test BUILD_PROFILE=debug CORE=mcu2_0

Once it is build, you could load it using CCS and then use CCS to debug the code.

You are talking about the method I can use in Ubuntu, I still have that problem of XDS110, it's too slow while loading launch.js

I'm now using CCS in Windows so there is no PSDKRA/pdk/packages/ti/build, so I have to build it in CCS IDE.

Note: I's still using SDK 06.02.00 so in your command I think it should be mcu2_1 and  not mcu2_0.

Use of CCS IDE for building example is not supported, so i would suggest using make file available in build folder.

Yes, for SDK6.2 release, use CODE=mcu2_1.
