AM4372: EMAC function

Hi Sitara Support Team,

My customers are considering adopting the AM4372/AM4376 and
using the Ethernet Subsystem (10/100Base, RMII) in their systems.

The AM437x is mainly used for LAN communication, LCD drawing processing
and modulation/demodulation signal processing specific to wireless devices.　
It is a prerequisite that modulation/demodulation signal processing
and LCD drawing processing specific to the radio does not fail
if the LAN reception load becomes too high.
In this case, even if there is a LAN reception loss, it is acceptable.

In order to ensure that processing other than LAN does not fail,
my customers need a function that can automatically mask LAN receive interrupts
when LAN communication becomes too heavy,
but the AM437x built-in EMAC does not seem to have this function.

If other peripherals have the ability to change the interrupt limit, what is the best solution?

What software is the customer running on the processor? (e.g., RTOS, Linux?)

Could you be more specific about exactly what software the customer is using? Remember that we can only support TI software on this forum.

The specific OS has not been decided yet.

In case of using TI RTOS SDK , could you tell me how to achieve a function
that can automatically mask LAN receive interrupts when LAN communication
becomes heavy, to avoid the failure of non-LAN processes?
