Not using USB on TPS65950

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65950, DM3730

Hi,

I am designing a board with TPS65950 and DM3730. I will not be using the USB interface and I am trying to connect the unused pins in all the recommended way. I find it confusing in some places.

Below is what I understand from the TPS65950 schematics checklist. Can anyone confirm if this implementation will work?

- Pin R9 (VBAT.USB) - Connected to 3.3V (no capacitor)

- Pins UCLK, DIR, STP, NXT, DATA0-7 - Floating

- Pin T10 (DP) and T11 (DN) - Floating

- Pin R11 (USB ID) - Connected to pin P9 (VUSB.3P1)

- Pin P9 (VUSB.3P1) - Cap 1uF AND connected to pin R11 (although the checklist specifies to NOT use VUSB.3P1 externally...)

- Pin R7 (CP.IN) - Connected to 3.3V (no capacitor)

- Pins T7 (CP.CAPP) and T6 (CP.CAPM) - Floating

- Pin R8 (VBUS) - Connected to GND (this is weird because VBUS is a power output...)

- Pin P8 (VINTUSB1P5.OUT) and P10 (VINTUSB1P8.OUT) - Floating

Thank you very much,

Yannick.
