Linux/AM5749: Loading Environment from FAT... *** Warning - bad CRC, using default environment

Hello!

I use ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-06.03.00.106 on am5749(custom board).

Everything is work fine  but I would like to know what is the reason for this warnings.How to resolve it?

    Hi Oleg,

    This particular warning is with your setup. I am using the default: ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-06.03.00.106

    I do not see that error. Here is my boot log from my AM574x-idk:

    Are you using the default release or you are modifying the defconfig for your particular custom board?

    CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_FAT=y
    CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC=y

    Please check the above configs are defined in your .config.

    Boths configs difined in my .config file.

    I didn't  change nothing in my config I am using stock config.

    Could you try with a different SD card?

    "Card did not respond to voltage select!

    Does seem like something is wrong.

    Hi Keerthy,

    No I didn't try any sd cards because card which I use absolutely new. I didn't suspect that the problem might be in the card!

    Do you have special recomendation for sd card?

    Like I sayed I no have eMMC on my custom bord...may be the reson in it..?

    Oleg,

    Just to be sure a card without UHS support. It will be difficult to analyze this
    issue as it does not come up on my board with default SDK u-boot.
