Hello,

I would like to program the data that is programmed EEPROM in TMDSIDK574 to the EEPROM in my custom board.

Because I would like to run binary data that use EEPROM data in TMDSIDK574 such a dhrystone in my custom board.

Is the TMDSIDK574 EEPROM data provided?
Is there a program to write it in I2C from AM574x?

Yes - the ability to program the EEPROM should be include in the EVM diagnostics/SDK. I believe software reads/uses the following fields

Board_Name: AM6-COMPROCEVM

PROC_Nbr: 0062

Design_Rev: E3

SWR_Rev: 01

But I don't know where is the program that can write the contents of your reply to EEPROM from AM574x.

"EEPROM Test" Program seems to only read the written data from EEPROM and not to write any data to EEPROM.

Which directory source files can be used for it?

I am using the latest Processor SDK RTOS.

Do you want binary or source code for EEPROM programmer? If binary - lots of questions about how you want each field populated (exact match as EVM)?

I would like to just program to EEPROM from AM574x.

So either binary or source code is fine.

First of all, I want to write the same data as the EEPROM on the EVM to the EEPROM on my custom board.
Because I want to run the following Dhrystone binaries for EVM on my custom board, the program needs to read the EEPROM.

<SDK_INSTALL_PATH>/processor_sdk_rtos_<platform>_2_00_xx_xx/demos/posix-smp/bin/<platform>/<core>/debug/dhry.out

Sorry - still trying to get response and the correct information. Initially sent EEPROM programmer for different device/EVM.

You can use software I2C calls to directly program the EEPROM contents. The attached script can be run in Tera Term from the u-boot prompt, and u-boot will write to the EEPROM over I2C.

You an also use the Linux ‘i2cdump’ program to view the full contents of the EEPROM (and get a decent address map to easily find the relevant memory addresses), then use the Linux ‘i2cset’ program to manually hack in whatever values they need.
