compatibility of DDR2/DDR3

as part of my project and due to to general interest I went to make fanless single board computer with OMAP3530 but found that it not that easy to get LPDDR easily . my question is simple suggest me a way to implement DDR in the place of LPDDR , without much hussle.

The OMAP3530 only supports Low Power DDR (LPDDR) and does not support DDR2.

The AM3505 or AM3517 supports DDR2, but is not pin-for-pin compatible with the OMAP3530.

Hello venu,

which package are you going to work with? I would use the CUS package and you should be able to get a discrete Micron LPDDR from digikey pretty easily.

thanks for ur replay is there any other way to hardwarely impliment DDR2/DDR3 in place of LPDDR
