CCS/TMS320DM8168: TMS320DM8168

Part Number: TMS320DM8168

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Team,

We have used TMS320DM8168 in one of our product. There is one board specific issue.

We are using DDR0 & DDR1. When programming the NAND, it is stopping before initializing PRCM registers and showing below error. DDR0 is out of reset but not DDR1

ERROR: CortexA8: GEL Output: EVM816x Startup Sequence

CortexA8: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x48181414 on Page 0 of Length 0x4: (Error -2130 @ 0x48181414) Unable to access device memory. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists,   confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 9.2.0.00004)
CortexA8: GEL: Error while executing OnTargetConnect(): Target failed to write 0x48181414
     at *((unsigned int *) (0x48180000+0x1414))=(unsigned int) 2 [evm816x.gel:327]
     at Setup_PRCM() [evm816x.gel:45]
     at OnTargetConnect()

Status of board:

->All the power signals are proper

-> Processor is out of reset

-> Clock signals are proper

-> JTAG signals are active

-> Measured impedances of critical signals also

-> Measured of some resistors. Since it is an old board, sometimes resistor values had gone bad.

Could you please suggest what else we could do.
