AM6548: Abbreviations related to the identification of processors

Hello
We have custom board based on the AM6548 processor. Sometimes we see on the forum various abbreviations related to the identification of processors of this series, such as: PG 1.0 , PG 2.0, SR 1.0, SR 2.0.
Could you explain what they mean and tell me how to find out which version I have?

As We understood SR - is silicon revision.

Hi,

To find out which silicon revision is in use, please reference the "Device Identification" section of the TRM. The Device ID register contains the information identifying the revision.

Hi Artem,

PG (Pattern Generation) and can be used interchangeably with SR (Silicon Revision), for example SR1.0 = PG1.0.
