TDA2E: meaning of SCH lable ER8 and REV G3

Part Number: TDA2E

Hi Team,

May I ask a simply question about SCH?

There are some ER8 and REV G3 labels in the schematic diagram of J6. Do these labels have any special meaning?

  • The labels are used to track changes as the design progressed.  Rev G2 label was to time-track when a specific change was made (like not populating the R256 resistor).  ER8 is similar, used to track change requests (like changing the population options between R795 and R796.  The schematic includes a change log which summarizes all the changes.
