[OMAP-L138] How to set PLL1 to run, at default, the mDDR clock at 100MHz

Hi,

We want to set the PLL1 to always run the mDDR clock to 100MHz. Is there a proper way to configure this in the Linux PSP release for OMAP-L138?

Currently we modify the initialization routine in board-da850-evm.c to reconfigure PLL1.

Also, what is the minimum frequency that the OMAP-L138 can safely run the mDDR without causing any data corruption?

Hi,

You can change the operating frequency by "AISgen for D800K00x(ex.AISgen for D800K006).

Hi Grant,

Such configurations are usually handled in the Primary Boot loader (UBL). You can edit src/boot-strap/armubl-03.20.00.14/src/omapl1x8/device.c for this.

As per the OMAP-L138 data sheet the minimum frequency at which mDDR has been speced to work properly is 100MHz.
