Background:
We are doing a comparison of the TMS320C30 and the TMS320VC33 DSP datasheet. Specifically, page 18 of the TMS320VC33 datasheet describes a Bus Keeper Circuit (figure 9) which is controlled by the SHZ pin. The TMS320C30 datasheet (SPRS032A – APRIL 1996) also includes the SHZ pin functionality but does not include a description of the Bus Keeper Circuit (figure 9) as detailed in the TMS320VC33 datasheet.
Question:
Does the TMS320C30 DSP include the Bus Keeper Circuit described in the TMS320VC33 datasheet as shown in figure 9? If so, can you provide any further documentation to describe this functionality?
