[Sound] Error writing data to sound device(Input/output error)

Hi All,

I have a live streaming application that captures digital data and plays it back. I am using the DM6467 processor.

When I write decoeded audio data to the  sound device, it fails with error code of DMAI_EIO. With DMAI debug messages on, the error printed is:

 [Sound] Error writing data to sound device(Input/output error).

Could anybody guide me as to how I can resolve this issue?
