Hello Support!!!

I use custom board on am5749.

The qustion is: Is it possible to use OpenCL on SGX544 GPU in ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-06.03.00.106, ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am57xx-evm-06.03.00.106 for some computation??

For example: DSP Is busy for some task.I have a free GPU which can I use for some computation throught OpenCl.

Like I understood this information now OpenCl computation realized on DSP https://downloads.ti.com/mctools/esd/docs/opencl/offload.html.

I saw some information the previous SDK have this possible....So do you have some mechanism or something like that for switch between computation on DSP or SGX544 ???

Could you confirm or deny this information??

Hi Oleg, there is not OpenCL support on AM5749's GPU in PSDK

1.Are there any options how to provide this?

2.All PSDK is not support OpenCL?

Hi Oleg,

OpenCL is only supported on DSP cores. We don't have any PSDK that provides OpenCL support on GPU cores. Thanks!

The question is: Can I use maybe another one driver for sgx which have support OpenCL on GPU....or somethink like that??????

I repeat.. I am understood it clearly...You don't have any PSDK that provides OpenCL. Is there any way to solve this??

I am asking it because as I said the DSP cores for example busy for some computation. It is logical to use free GPU for computation and Increase performance.

Thats is all....If it no possible I will resolve this

Hi Oleg,

Yes, it may be possible to run OpenCL on SGX GPU core, however, you will have to confirm that with SGX (and obtain such driver/support). TI does not provide such a driver and does not support such a use scenario.
