How to do a wait on the C5505 DSP, using Code Composer Studio ?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on the C5505 DSP, and i need to do a Wait on it in C language (i am using Code Composer).

Does anybody know a function to do this wait, and if it exits, in wich library it can be found ?

There is an alternative by doing a For loop, but with this method, i can't control the duration (i want to do a wait of 4 ms).

Hi,

You have a couple of options:

1. If you need a exact time, you can use TIMER or RTC functions.

3. Timer example is under c55xx_csl\ccs_v3.3_examples\gpt directory or c55xx_csl\ccs_v4.0_examples\gpt.

4. RTC example is under c55xx_csl\ccs_v3.3_examples\rtc or c55xx_csl\ccs_v4.0_examples\rtc directory.

If you're already using TI's DSP/BIOS, then the TSK_sleep command can be useful.
