We have board with this part as component, but we cannot find a datasheet for this.

Does anyone know where to find it?

On Google I get hits for aliexpress.com and ebay, so I think the part nr is correct

    Thank you for your quick response.

    Below the picture of the part:

    This is for a customer of ours and they told us we are not allowed to change the design of the board. So that is unfortunate.

    To get the right specs for checking the datasheet is vital to us.

    Hello Charlotte,

    The TMS980 is a custom device, for a specific customer and under NDA, therefore, information concerning this device can only be requested by that original customer.  Your customer would have to go to the company that designed/produced the board to request information about that IC. 

    Is your customer the original designer of the board where this IC is used?  If so, they can request a datasheet with the information on the NDA.  If not, there is no way this information can be provided.

    Thank you for your answer, this explains why we could not find any datasheet of this part.

    My customer is not the original designer, but we will pass the information on to them.

    Good to know questions like this can be solved on forums like this.
