Dear TI Team,

We would like to use UART3_RTSn(over K24) to control DE/RE pin on THVD1550DR RS485 transceiver IC. First of all, is it possible to do that with auto flow control function as depicted in AM437x trm 30.4.4.2.5.4 and 30.4.4.2.5.4.1? If yes, can you please tell us the steps how to configure this function properly on SW side?

Our current SDK version : 06_01_00_08

Hi,

The hardware supports flow control, but it isn't supported in the UART LLD.

I suggest looking at tables:

19-37 (bit 6 and 7)

19-43 (bit 1)

19-50 (bit 0)

These registers can be set using CSL functions found in <PDK>/packages/ti/csl
